Formed in May 2012, Sound Connection Chorus was directed by Andrew Howson until May 2020. Andrew is taking a well earned break and in Jan 2021, the chorus appointed Kelly Sheppard as director.

Sound Connection all male a cappella chorus continually strive for excellence in singing,  and welcome anyone who shares this passion to come to a rehearal and have a listen. It's free to do this.

Based at the Pacific Pines State High Performing Arts Centre, on the northern end of the Gold Coast, we sing four-part a cappella harmony, mainly in the Barbershop style.

The Sound Connection repertoire is a mix of traditional barbershop arrangements, rock and roll, musical theatre, jazz and some contemporary songs.  All music is sung in a cappella style in four parts.

We perform throughout the year, singing in contests, conventions, community and private functions and events and produce shows.

We are more than just a bunch of Barbershoppers... we are a brotherhood who love what we do and want to connect with people and take them on a journey with our music.
